Jodi Ritacca (Carlini) loves Woodbury! She and her family have called Woodbury home for nearly thirty years. She has been an volunteer with Woodbury Thrives since its humble beginnings as a grassroots community organization in 2015 to it becoming one of the premiere programs of the Woodbury Community Foundation (WCF), with its simple message: “to inspire health and well-being for everyone.” As an active community volunteer, Jodi’s been recognized with Minnesota’s Washington County’s 2020 Outstanding Community Volunteer Award.

Margaret Wachholz

Team Lead, Mental Wellbeing

Mental Wellbeing focuses on reducing the stigma of mental illness and building resiliency, particularly in youth. The team has worked with the Make It OK and Change to Chill programs, sponsored the Angst movie, and sponsored a panel discussion on the Netflix Series “13 Reasons Why.” If you’d like to volunteer, connect with Margaret Wachholz here.

Team Lead, Social Connectedness

Social Connectedness focuses on bringing together our community, particularly those ages 55+. Our signature event is “Coffee, Tea, and Conversations” – where we gather people for some guided connection – anything from a scavenger hunt to making seed balls.
